Summary of the conversation “The Wonderful World of Sea Stones” for preschool children

Sayvit, Peru

Another ancient representative of the wonderful world of stones. It is located on the coast of the Apurimac River and is a 4-meter granite, the age of which is estimated at several thousand years. Its lower part has the shape of an irregular bowl, and at the top there is a complex image of the buildings of the ancient city. The picture is quite detailed, depicting houses, streets, squares, temples and roads. In principle, there is nothing special in this panorama, except that granite is an extremely hard rock, and working with it requires a lot of effort. It is even more difficult to clearly depict small details in all their details. Obviously, it is impossible to do this without special tools, but given the age of the find, it turns out that people already had these tools unknown to us.

Another interesting fact: the channels and sewers carved into granite are made with such precision that when rainwater pours onto the stone, everything in this city flows where it is supposed to. Who made this layout and for what purpose is still an unanswered question.

Al-Naslaa sawn stone

The location of this unique find is Saudi Arabia. The peculiarity of this huge monolith is immediately visible - it is a perfect cut in terms of evenness. Its exact age has not been determined, but scientists believe that it is many millennia. The origin of the cut is also unknown. If it is man-made, then representatives of the ancient civilization possessed unique technologies. Or perhaps there was some kind of natural phenomenon, although it’s hard to even guess what.

It is also interesting that the stone did not fall apart or move after cutting, but continues to stand without moving a millimeter (the distance of the gap is the same everywhere), while the support for each part is a relatively small surface area for this size. Both monoliths maintain reliable stability.

Ishi-no-Hoden

This stone is called “flying up”, its location is Japan, the town of Takasago. It is a part of a rock, a monolith, which for some purpose was processed, presumably for use in a building. But it was not used, and remained unfinished. The weight of the monolith is substantial - around 600 tons. Its edges have grooves, the purpose of which is unclear, but, apparently, either for movement, or vice versa, for fixation when connected to other parts.

An analysis of the Ishi-no-Hoden stone was carried out, but scientists find it difficult to say its true age, and there were no reliable assumptions about the tools with which it could be processed in this way.

Balls of the Gods

They do not have a specific location, they, like witch circles, are found in different parts of our planet, on the archipelago of the cold Arctic Ocean, in hot New Zealand, in Central America (especially many of them were found in Costa Rica), as well as in Kazakhstan and Russia. They are stone balls of different sizes, from tiny to multi-ton, which are also called moracks.

Based on research, the oldest “ball” was identified, whose age exceeded 12 thousand years!

It is unknown why and by whom these balls were polished. There are also serious doubts about the fact that they are the work of human hands. Many moraks were broken or blown up as people searched for treasure, but they turned out to be monolithic. There are many assumptions about the nature of the balls of the gods, but none of them have been proven yet. The version that they were made for the purpose of architectural decoration was a priority for a long time, but it was shattered by the question - where did they come from on the land of Franz Joseph? Perhaps these are just fossilized eggs of ancient animals, such as dinosaurs?

What did the ancient sailors believe?

The main sign: at sea (more precisely, on a ship) there is no place for women. In the era of steel liners, this is no longer relevant, but the ancestors assured that those who ignore the demands of fate will face misfortune. Where did this warning come from? It is enough to remember what ancient galleys and frigates looked like - their stems were always decorated with carved figures with recognizable girlish features. According to sailors, ships had their own soul - it was feminine, jealous, capricious, capable of being offended if someone thought of bringing another lady onto the ship.

The signs of sailors are so diverse that a separate encyclopedia could be dedicated to them. There were secret ways to summon the wind and calm the storm. The shipbuilders had their patrons and enemies. By communicating correctly with both, people tried to earn the favor of higher powers and ensure a smooth journey for themselves.
