From December 20 to 23, the Trubetskoy-Naryshkin mansion will host a grandiose jewelry exhibition “Treasures of St. Petersburg.” It will bring together jewelers and leading jewelry manufacturers in Russia, and craftsmen from abroad, who will present their precious creations - and, most importantly, at very attractive prices. It will also be possible to purchase weapons, jewelry, watches and interior items. A great place to buy a New Year's gift in St. Petersburg.
What distinguishes the exhibition “Treasures of St. Petersburg” from similar events is that it always takes place in palace interiors. This time it is the Trubetskoy-Naryshkin mansion in the very center of St. Petersburg. In the luxurious halls, in which the spirit of the aristocracy and high society breathes, where fiery balls were once held, designer decorations look even more majestic. By the way, many of the jewelry at the exhibition are made in a single copy.
In short, it will be like visiting a museum. And by the way, excursions will actually be organized for visitors.
Main products of the jewelry exhibition “Treasures of St. Petersburg”
• designer handmade jewelry from the country's leading jewelers; • diamonds and silver from Yakutia, Ural emeralds, silver and gold from Kostroma, Kaliningrad amber, Georgian enamel; • silver plate; • porcelain; • artistic weapons; • watch; • precious stones, pearls, minerals; • branded jewelry; • paintings, boxes, etc.

You can find the perfect decoration for yourself or a gift for your family and friends. After all, the New Year is approaching at cosmic speed, and you need to have time to buy gifts. And jewelry is an absolutely winning gift, especially if given to girls.
At the exhibition you will find exciting tours through the historical halls of the mansion, as well as lotteries with valuable prizes and decorations. History of the museum
The history of the development and formation of the Museum of the History of Religion is divided into several stages. From 1932 to 1944 the institution actively accumulated exhibits, during this period the collection was replenished with unique artifacts - icons, paintings and objects that demonstrate the history and culture of not only Christianity, but also Islam, Buddhism, Judaism, Hinduism, the beliefs of the Caucasian peoples, etc.
From 1944 to 1960 The Museum of the History of Religion also developed, although the beginning of this period was associated with a difficult trial. During the Great Patriotic War, museum employees who did not go to the front actively guarded the funds and saved valuable exhibits from fires and shells. In the post-war period, restoration of the museum began. The largest thematic exhibitions were created, which glorified the institution not only in the USSR, but also in other countries.
In 1954, the institution was awarded the title “State Museum of the History of Religion and Atheism of the USSR Academy of Sciences,” which existed until 1990. Afterwards, the museum returned to its previous name - “State Museum of the History of Religion.”

Visitors can imagine how religion began thanks to rock paintings reproduced using a multimedia system. The exhibition tells about the rituals and beliefs of the ancient tribes of Oceania, South America, the Far East, Siberia and other regions. The halls display stone tools of primitive man, as well as elements of clothing and religious objects of the late Paleolithic.
- Hall 3. Religions of the Ancient World. It contains artifacts demonstrating the development of religion in Ancient Egypt, Babylon, Greece and Rome. This is a time of interweaving of totemism, shamanism, polytheism, as well as the emergence of ideas about the afterlife and the soul. Visitors will learn many interesting facts about the religious cults of that period.
