DIY amulets or how to make talismans of the ancient Slavs to protect your home and family

A talisman is a special thing that helps its owner in life. They were made in many cultures, including Slavic.

An amulet is a special thing that helps its owner in life. They were created in many cultures, including Slavic ones. Omega was made from both inexpensive and expensive materials, worn on the body, in a bag, and placed in the house or on the street.

For many people, it is easier to make an amulet themselves than to buy it or order it from a master. It is faster, cheaper and allows us to preserve the traditions of our ancestors.

Is it worth making amulets yourself?

Having become interested in amulets, people learn that they can not only be bought, but also made with their own hands. At this point, they wonder if there are any rules against doing this. Isn't it better to entrust this task to a professional?

There is no single point of view on this issue. One half of the esoteric community is convinced that only a person endowed with magical abilities can create a working talisman. Another believes that a homemade amulet is much more powerful than one bought or made by a master.

By creating a talisman, a person endows an object with his own energy. With this amulet, he initially begins to perceive her as his master, which means he gets along with her faster and better.

The second theory is more popular, but everyone decides for themselves what is closer to them. In any case, a homemade amulet cannot carry a negative message. Of course, if you don’t think about something bad while working on it.

How do money amulets work?

The history of mysterious amulets that attract material well-being goes back more than one decade. The need for mystical objects to attract money among different nations has appeared since the advent of banknotes. People noticed that when various objects appeared in everyday life, financial issues were resolved easily, and ideas for getting money arose in their heads one after another.

Today there are many talismans of happiness and good luck that belong to different world cultures. There are many options for ready-made amulets for money on sale, but the real value is in the talismans you create yourself. They integrate with the energy of the owner and are configured to perform functions, the essence of which is conveyed by the power of thought of the manufacturer.

This is exactly how money amulets work. The energy of the talisman unites with the biofield of the owner and begins to “work” like a magnet for money. The result of the action of magical energy impulses is good luck in material matters.

The talisman acts by influencing human behavior on a subconscious level - ensuring that the right decisions and actions are made. Magical objects inspire confidence and are a kind of guarantee of well-being for a superstitious person.

Rules for making amulets

Making amulets at home is incompatible with haste. Before starting this activity, it is advisable to familiarize yourself with the recommendations of knowledgeable people. They will help you make a working amulet, avoiding common mistakes.

Only natural materials are suitable for amulets.

What materials are used

The following materials can be used to make amulets:

  • Paper. Paper talismans are the simplest. They are manufactured quickly and, if necessary, can be easily replaced with new ones.
  • A thread. Products made from threads are light in weight. This is their advantage, because such talismans are much more convenient to take with you on the road.
  • Textile. Amulets made from bags are more durable than paper ones, and some of them can even be washed. For example, fabric bags.
  • Tree. For amulets, they take not only the tree itself, but also its bark. It is known that birch bark was regularly used for Slavic amulets.
  • Dough. Special figures are made from salt dough. They are baked, painted, and then decorated and hung on the wall.
  • Leather and fur. These materials are not simple. On the one hand, they are natural, but on the other hand, they carry the energy of a dead animal. And that's not very good.
  • Stones. It is important to consider compatibility with a specific product. The downside is that not everyone will be able to process them.
  • Metals. The situation is the same as with stones.

Artificial materials for future amulets are not purchased. If it is leather, then it should be natural, if the threads should be wool or cotton. There is no plastic!

You can make an amulet from only one material or from several. The most important thing is that they must fit together. And you should be happy with the result.

Common Mistakes

When creating your amulet, you need to know what to avoid. Often, inexperienced masters neglect simple and well-known rules, so their amulets do not work.

What you need to know to create the right talisman:

  1. Let's consider the time of creation of the world. Some amulets are recommended to be made at midnight, others at dawn.
  2. Find out if you can use needles and scissors. For example, when rolling Slavic jerky, these tools are only partially used. Perhaps such nuances exist in other amulets.
  3. Check if you have chosen the right colors. Slavic craftsmen paid attention not only to materials, but also to colors. Each shade on the amulet that you have made carries a coded message.
  4. Ask if you need to cast a spell over the amulet after it is made. Some magical attributes will not work without special activation.
  5. Make sure no one distracts you. Focusing on the process helps concentrate the power that the craftsman imparts to his work. If you get distracted by conversations, you will end up with an empty shell.

Types of ornaments

The emergence of ornament dates back to a time when the advent of writing was still far away. This is confirmed mainly by the fact that ancient man, who dug dugouts for himself, dressed in the skins of killed animals and warmed himself by the fire, necessarily decorated most household items with various ornaments. On the tools and clay vessels of people of that time, you can see the simplest patterns: wavy and straight lines, dots and diamonds.

It is quite difficult to read such signs, but scientists are diligently unraveling these mysteries.

Everyone knows that in ancient times man was a hunter. Of course, he knew that the main strength of the animals lay in their tusks - real weapons in the fight for life. The tusk itself or its cut was depicted in the form of a diamond. This sign contained power and strength. It is for this reason that ancient people painted it on surrounding objects and their own bodies.

Diamonds running over each other were a sign of good luck, fertility and successful hunting. The man asked the Earth, Sun and Sky for good luck and cast the necessary spells so that his fields would be productive. To do this, he had to repeat patterns.

Besides:

  • horizontal lines symbolized the earth;
  • the points between the lines are grains thrown into the ground;
  • wavy lines - water;
  • oblique lines are a symbol of rain crossing the road to the sun.

In ancient times, masters often painted signs symbolizing the sun - solar signs. Over the millennium, the sun has received a huge number of variations in the image, among which there are various types of crosses, whether in a circle or without it. Some similar crosses, outlined in a circle, resemble images of a wheel, and this is not just so: people saw that the sun moved across the sky like a fiery wheel. The celestial body, or rather its eternal movement, was designated by a swastika, a hooked cross, denoting not only the sun, but also a wish for well-being. Most often it can be found on northern embroidery on shirts, towels and in swearing weaving.

Old ornaments can tell us many secrets. Unraveling the meanings of symbols, we understand that this language of symbols conveys to us the attitude of our ancestors to nature. The masters drew the necessary spells in the form of an ornament, asking nature for protection, protection and mercy, bowing before its power. After this, the people with special care selected and preserved those signs that contributed to abundance, goodness, luck and a good harvest.

What amulets can you make?

Making an amulet yourself is not as difficult as it seems. We are used to amulets being made from expensive metals. But it was not always so. In the past we used more economical materials.

Previously, handicrafts were made for ritual purposes. Artist Eugenio Zampigni.

A simple amulet does not mean it is weak. Even the most beautiful thing made of gold will not bring happiness and will not help its owner if the master made it without a soul, and the owner of the jewelry does not believe in its power.

Pendants and other wearables

Our ancestors were very fond of body amulets. Usually they made and wore pendants with sacred symbols, but sometimes ancient signs were made on waist pendants, as well as on women's earrings (for example, Lunnitsa).

Both the female symbol Ladinets and its male reflection Kolyadnik were often encountered. Solar symbols were usually depicted on round wooden plates. Some amulets, such as the Ax of Perun, were made in their true (albeit clearly reduced) form. The ax is not the only attribute of the thunder god. You can read about other symbols of Perun in the article about this deity.

Wrist (bracelets and rings)

Hand amulets include not only those worn around the neck, but also amulets for the wrist and fingers. The world's most famous hand amulet, the red thread, is tied specifically to the wrist. By the way, here is a detailed description of how to do this.

Shambhala looks great and protects well at the same time.

But the red thread does not look very nice on the hand. For connoisseurs of beauty, we suggest making Shambhala. The Shambhala bracelet is two in one. A stylish accessory and a powerful Tibetan amulet.

But in Russia they used rings for protection. The newlyweds ringed each other with their wedding ring. This symbol protected their luck. You can read about other wedding amulets at this link.

Amulet dolls

Dolls are an important part of the culture of the ancient Slavs. They were made as amulets for holidays or special occasions (illness, birth of a child, travel). Among the most popular talismans for lovers are Nezlomny and Krupenichka, a doll responsible for a luxuriously laid table.

According to tradition, the dolls were made by an experienced woman, usually the eldest in the family. The materials chosen were simple - fabric, threads, ribbons, straws, beads. But at the same time, the shawl dolls turned out to be bright and cheerful. The most important thing is that this amulet can be easily made at home.

For home and other premises

Talismans that protect the home are even easier to make than personal talismans. But don’t let this primitiveness fool you, because they all contain a piece of nature. It is nature that influences their strength.

It is known that the Slavs used salt to protect their homes. They washed the floor with salt water, poured salt on the threshold, sewed a bag of salt and hung it over the door. Thursday salt was considered especially strong. In this article, we talked about the difference between Thursday salt and regular salt and how to prepare it.

Garlands of garlic and red pepper were also popular in the kitchen. However, the protective symbol Alatyr was most often used for houses. She drove away the evil eye and damage and made the house friendly.

Home averters simply can and should do it themselves - so their power will be maximum.

Embroidery

When there was no Internet, women knitted more. Many people still do this, but treat sewing or knitting as a hobby. Previously, it was a necessity - to sew a shirt for your husband or son, or to sew a shawl for yourself.

Embroidery was not only an art, but also real magic. A skilled weaver wove into beautiful patterns symbols of good luck or wishes for good health, signs that ward off evil spirits. That is why such symbols as Alatyr, Lucky Horse, Makosh, etc. often worn on clothing.

Other

Many people are surprised that amulets are made from herbs. But we will surprise you even more - they are even made from dough! For this, a special salted dough is prepared, from which various figures are then sculpted - a horseshoe, a housewife, a sun, a basket of vegetables, a house surrounded by sunflowers.

After the figures are baked, they should be painted and decorated with grains, dried berries, dried peppers or seeds. All these little things will make the amulet stronger.

Another talisman from the past is the pin. The pin is believed to remove negative energy from the person wearing it. To do this, add a red ribbon or a pendant with the Eye of Fatima to make the talisman more powerful.

Choosing the location of protective embroidery

  1. Circular - they are also traditional, embroidered on the sleeves, collar, hem, and belt.
  2. All the rest are non-traditional and perform various protection functions:
  • protecting the baby from troubles - the silhouette of a rooster or horse, embroidered with black or red thread; for older children, for example, schoolchildren - a violet-blue color scheme that protects against mental fatigue;
  • protection of the sphere of relationships (love) - cross-shaped and circular patterns embroidered with orange-red threads;
  • successful business management in any field of activity - golden-green or blue embroidery.

To your health

The ancient Slavs believed that all diseases come from negative energy emanating from evil spirits or envious people. To protect the family, they made many amulets.

Some were placed around the house, while others were carried on people. Among the items placed in the hut were an elegant broom and Lichomaniac dolls. Bouquets of dried herbs were also hung around the rooms. And when they left home, they took the herbalist doll with them.

The color of business success

Experts in Feng Shui traditions say that the most suitable color for business mascots is red and its shades: from pink to burgundy. This color symbolizes the first chakra, which is called Muladhara. This energy center is considered the most earthly and is responsible for survival in the material world. This color gives a person additional strength, evokes a desire to act with determination, and enhances mental abilities.

For personal amulets, you can use red gemstones, such as rubies. Elements of this spectrum are suitable for decorating a store or office, because this color attracts potential customers.

However, the color red should not be overused. An excessive dose of red awakens aggression, unbalancing a person. The consequence of this may be ill-considered decisions and actions, which will negatively affect the business. Therefore, orange and yellow are considered more favorable colors. They help create a comfortable atmosphere for dialogue. These colors will perfectly complement the main red color, making its impact softer but deeper.

Green is considered a more harmonious color. It goes well with other colors and also has a calming effect. Its influence depends on the paired color. Green in combination with warm shades inspires people and creates a working mood. When combined with cool colors, green calms and promotes concentration on the subject of conversation. In addition, green color relieves eye strain, so it is suitable in different areas.

As for cool colors, which include white and blue in different variations, they promote relaxation. Such colors are often associated with respectability, aristocracy and high position in society. These colors evoke subconscious respect from the interlocutor.

When creating a corporate identity, white and gray colors are often used, which are set in a businesslike manner. Also, when decorating an office or store, a universal solution would be a combination of white and black colors.

Practical magic experts recommend that businessmen first choose a talisman stone and work from there. That is, take the main color of this stone as a basis and use it in the design of an office, apartment, and clothing items. You can buy a car with a similar color. Thus, the chosen color of luck will accompany the entrepreneur wherever they are and guarantee success in all endeavors. Even in the most difficult times, the affairs of such a person will go uphill.

How to clean and charge the amulet

Like any other item, your amulet will wear out. At the same time, it may look the same as before, but no longer bring good luck. Thus, making an amulet is only part of the job. To prevent your talismans from losing their power, do not forget to cleanse them of energy dirt.

Simple cleaning methods:

  1. Salt. Table salt (sea salt is also suitable for baths) will quickly draw out negative energy from the amulet. Place it in a container, filling it to the brim with salt, and leave it overnight. According to the rules, this salt should not be consumed, so just get rid of it.
  2. Water. It is best to use spring water - in such cases it is more effective than tap water. Don't you have it? Replace it with tap water, making sure that the talisman is under the stream.
  3. Fire. Particularly evil witches were burned at the stake. And for good reason. In the Middle Ages, it was believed that fire destroys the most powerful evil. Esotericists assure us that flame is truly capable of purifying energy.

For cleansing by fire, the flame of an ordinary candle is sufficient.

Cleaning is followed by activation. To fill the amulet with power, do one of the following:

  • read a spell appropriate to the occasion over it;
  • Let the object remain in the sun for several hours - a windowsill, grass in the garden, a table in a gazebo - any of these places will do;
  • Bury it in the ground at noon and leave it until the morning.

How to make and customize a talisman, amulet and amulet

How to make and customize a talisman, amulet and amulet.
Hello, dear readers, in the last article we looked at the essence, types and purpose of talismans, amulets and amulets, and in this article we will continue to consider this interesting topic. It is useful to know what kinds of talismans and amulets there are, but this is not enough, because in order for a talisman, amulet or amulet to benefit its owner, it is important to know how to properly make and configure it. This is exactly what we will talk to you about today.

How to make a talisman.

The process of making a talisman is not complicated, but it should be approached very responsibly.

First of all, you should determine why you need a talisman. It is impossible to create a talisman “for everything” - for love, for wealth, and for success in business. The talisman should be aimed at one aspect of your life. You can ask the talisman for success in business and wealth, wisdom and family well-being, or health and beauty. Once you determine what exactly you want from your mascot, write down your request on a piece of paper and place the paper in a visible place for a week. While it is kept in your sight, you will be able to consider the correctness of your request. After a week, when you are sure that you want exactly what you specified in your request from a talisman, you should decide what material to make the talisman from.

Many people are at a loss when thinking about what material to make a talisman from, and for good reason, because the choice of materials is really great - a talisman can be made from anything your heart desires. To make a talisman, you can use materials such as metal, resin, beeswax and sealing wax. But lead, tin or cadmium are better suited for making a talisman, because these metals can easily be melted over a fire, or in a spoon over a stove. As for other metals, the process is more labor-intensive, because to melt them you will need a jewelry burner or a melting furnace.

When choosing a material, you must remember that cadmium, tin, lead and silver carry Yin energy, and bronze, copper, brass and gold carry Yang energy. Thus, if the talisman is made of metals belonging to the Yin group, it will enhance feminine qualities, and if it is made of Yang metals, on the contrary, it will enhance masculine qualities. But much more important than the choice of metal is what will be included in it.

You need to know that talismans made from sealing wax do not “remember” the information that is embedded in them well, and at the same time, sealing wax is relatively fragile, although it does not soften when worn. When a talisman is made from wax, it must first be melted and then poured into a wooden or metal mold. You can also make a talisman from paper, leather or organic resins. When paper or leather is used as a material, several layers must be glued. It is believed that it is better to give preference to PVA glue or epoxy resin as a fastening material, since liquid glue contains information embedded in it that may conflict with the information contained in the talisman.

The most important thing in the process of making a talisman is the introduction of an energy-informational structure into it. Since the purpose of creating a talisman is a constant beneficial effect on a person, first of all, in order for the talisman to fulfill its function, it is necessary to determine the chakra associated with the astral plane (depending on the purpose of the talisman, the choice of chakra is made). The chakra, which is responsible for communication with the astral plane, is called ajna. Next you should choose a stone.

In the process of choosing a stone, you should remember the following - you should never use hematite and black onyx as the main stone for creating a talisman, since the first can lead to health problems for a person, and the second is a stone of black magicians, and black magic does not lead to good never, because when achieving something necessary for oneself with the help of black magic, a person necessarily also loses something very important. There is a known case when a person, with the help of black magic, attracted wealth to himself, and he finally became rich when he was informed that his parents died in a car accident and left all their property to him as an inheritance. That's it - if you want to resort to black magic, be prepared to pay the price for your actions.

It is best to use amber, because this stone is capable of accumulating energy, giving the owner of the talisman important vital forces. The only important thing is that the amber is real. In addition, amber suits absolutely everyone. If you choose this stone, you will immediately feel all its creative energy, you will become more cheerful and active. If amber is not your thing, you can choose any blue transparent stone. Without the stone, the effect of the talisman will not be as strong, so still consider the stone as the main element of your future talisman in order to get more benefit from it.

Regardless of where you got the stone (purchased in a store, or given to you as a gift, which is undesirable - it is better if the stone is new), you should erase the past information that it contains from it. To do this, clean the stone under cold running water. If necessary, select a material and clean the stone further. You can soak it in Holy Water for a few minutes.

The next stage of making a talisman is creating a detailed image and finding the Word for influence, which will be inscribed on the talisman. Next we move on to preparing the form for the mascot. For sealing wax, wax, cadmium or tin, it is better to use a mold made of thick aluminum foil. Next, the metal is heated to a liquid state. If wax is used, it should be poured layer by layer into the mold. When the metal is poured into the mold, it turns a bright orange color. At this stage, carefully place your hands next to the form, concentrate as much as possible, and put a specific goal into the form, mentally imagine it. Visualization of the image should continue until the metal begins to cool.

You should never fuse stones into metal, as this will cause them to break down. Fusing only into sealing wax, wax and resins is allowed. When the metal has completely cooled, the talisman should be taken out, processed over it and, if necessary, glued in the stone using waterproof glue or epoxy resin. The next stage of making a talisman is engraving the inscriptions. The main point is that while engraving the inscription, it is necessary to fully concentrate on the meaning that this inscription carries; all the person’s thoughts should be in the desired result.

That's all - your talisman is ready. Next, it should be put aside for 3 hours, after which it can be used.

Now you, as a very attentive reader, will object: “Use? Author, haven’t you forgotten anything?” Oh yes, thanks for reminding me! Now, old age is not a joy, of course - after all, your talisman still needs to be configured, because without configuration, the talisman is nothing more than a chip built into the aura or general energy space. This does not mean that an untuned talisman will not have any effect; there will certainly be an effect, but it is not always the one that the owner of the talisman is counting on. Thus, the owner of the talisman can get the desired result, but pay a very high price for it (as in the previously discussed example with the effect of black magic). In order to protect yourself from such incidents, it is better to set up a talisman.

So, let's look at the process of setting up a talisman . It consists of several stages:

1. Take the talisman in an inverted position, a church candle, incense and a pen for writing.

2. Look at the talisman for 10 minutes, holding it at eye level, focusing all your thoughts on your dreams and desires. Be sure to clearly formulate your desire, because this information will subsequently be transferred to the talisman for action.

3. The talisman is placed on the left palm so that the front side looks up, and the person says the prayer: “Lord, my God! Created everything from nothing! Creator of the visible and invisible! You yourself are an inexhaustible source of abundance, the Father of generosity and all mercy. Send, O Lord, Thy Holy Spirit to this thing, put Thy good power into it, revive it with Thy holy breath of life, and may it serve for salvation and good for me and my family and for fulfillment (here you need to clearly express the formula of your desire) according to to your purpose for Your glory, O Lord. Amen".

Next, the person performs a blessing gesture over the talisman three times, passes his right hand over the talisman from top to bottom, repeating: “Lord, bless!”

If you have clearly completed all three steps, congratulations to you, now your talisman is successfully charged and is ready to help you achieve what you want.

However, the work with the talisman does not end there, because over time its power may weaken. To prevent this, the talisman must be cleaned from time to time to minimize the negative impact of external factors on it.

The methods for cleaning the talisman are simple, the main thing to remember is:

1. Place the talisman in a transparent vessel with water and place it in the sun for half an hour;

2. Dip the talisman in sea salt and leave it there for three days, after which the sea salt must be thrown away;

3. In order to clean the talisman, it is recommended to fumigate it with sage or cedar incense, which will perfectly clean not only the talisman itself, but also the room.

4. Light a church candle, then pass the talisman over it from left to right and from right to left. At the same time, it is very important to mentally imagine how all the negative energy accumulated on the talisman burns out, and not a trace remains of it.

5. The talisman is washed in running water, dried with a linen cloth and placed in the sun for 30-35 minutes to charge. At the same time, no one should pick up the talisman or even see it - then it will be able to properly charge itself and help its owner.

How to make an amulet.

The amulet must be a physical embodiment of a person’s goal, the bearer of his desire and will. It is best to use an item that is informationally pure to make an amulet, i.e. not carrying any information. As a rule, wood is taken as the basis for the amulet, most often linden or birch due to the fact that this material is the most pliable. You can also use juniper, cedar, pine, ash or oak. It is best to obtain material for making an amulet outside the city, because there it is the most energetically pure.

First of all, when making an amulet, it is necessary to cut out a wooden block of any size and shape, but not too large in size. To wear the amulet around your neck, you need to make a hole in the plate for a string. In order to make the amulet more individual, you need to come up with your own sign, or use runes. If you make a choice in favor of runes (see Fig. 1), you need to remember that each rune serves a specific purpose, and there is no universal rune.

The purposes of each rune:

- Uruz - strengthens friendship and love; — Algiz – protects a person from witchcraft and negative events; — Teyvaz – promotes success in competitions; — Eyvaz – helps to overcome all sorts of obstacles; — Vunyo – promotes the accumulation of positive energy and helps to attract good luck and success.

Rice. 1 – Types of runes for creating an amulet

In addition to runes, you can get your sign from the information field. To draw your sign, you will need a graphite pencil, a blank sheet of paper and your imagination. Do not use a pen, only a pencil, because a pencil is made of wood and does not carry any information load. You just need to draw an image on paper, and then decide for yourself what it will mean. Next, you should transfer this image to the amulet and cut it out. The main point is this: it is not the image itself that matters, but the meaning that you put into this image. If you like your amulet, great, then it’s time to move on to its consecration.

Consecration is the most important ritual on which it depends whether your amulet will bring you the desired benefits. At this stage it is very important to do everything correctly. Before charging the amulet with energy, it should be energetically cleansed. To do this, he uses the source of all life - water, which will perfectly remove all unnecessary unnecessary information from the amulet. The amulet should be rinsed under cold water, but even better - in a natural body of water, if possible. When cleaning an amulet with water, you need to say: “Water, I ask you to wash away all unnecessary and negative information from this item. Right now I feel all the bad energy of this object leaving it and bringing in the quiet, calm wise energy of the water. Thank you, water.”

to cleanse the amulet , because it remarkably destroys all the negativity accumulated by the object. You need to take the amulet and lightly set it on fire, while saying the words: “Fire, burn and destroy all the negative energy of this object and charge it with your powerful power, your powerful and fair energy. Thank you, fire."

charge the amulet with energy using air. The phrase addressing air will be similar to addressing fire and water. There is no one specific formulation of the phrase, because a person turns to the elements, and therefore each of the appeals must be invented by a person individually.

When you asked the elements to cleanse and charge your amulet, you took an important step. Now it is very important to convey all your desires and thoughts to the amulet. To this end, on a piece of paper with a pencil, write down everything that you want to receive as a result, for whom you are doing all this (for yourself or another person), and also how all this will be realized through the amulet. Moreover, the more detailed you describe everything, the greater the chance that the amulet will help you achieve your desired goals. To visualize the result more colorfully, use pencils of different colors. You yourself must like what you write, otherwise everything else is meaningless. Joy at this moment should overwhelm you.

When you have written the desired result on a piece of paper, you need to go out into the fresh air and set the piece of paper on fire, saying: “Let this information come true. In the name of goodness and love. So be it!”, while you should mentally imagine how this information rushes into the sky. Then you collect the ashes, smear a small part of it on the amulet, and throw the rest of the ashes into the sky with a sharp movement of your hand, pronouncing the same words.

That's it, the consecration ritual is completed, but the process itself is not finished, because from the moment the amulet is made until the moment you receive the desired result, you must believe that the result will be achieved. By the way, the described ritual is not an axiom, and you can independently come up with an individual process of the consecration ritual. The main thing is, no matter what consecration ritual you choose, always believe in the help of the amulet and its great power.

How to make a talisman.

If you decide to make a talisman, you should remember that without sincere and unbreakable faith, the talisman will not work, or rather, it will not have any power, and only you will be to blame for this. Even if you believed in the power of the amulet, and you succeeded, you cannot lose this faith, because the powers of the amulet will begin to disappear, and you will be left without protection.

When you decide to create a talisman, you should remember that not a single person (regardless of the degree of relationship) should know that you are creating it. You may wonder: “But how? After all, the amulet was created to protect families.” This is true, however, not all people believe in the power of the amulet, but what is even more dangerous, many people are superstitious, and when they see you working on creating the amulet, they will immediately decide that your family is in danger, and will worry, spoil their nervous system, but you don’t need it. Relatives will fuss around, distract you with questions, and the amulet should be created in silence and in a state of absolute peace of mind of its creator.

Any object that initially has magical protective functions can become a talisman for a person . To enhance the effect of the amulet, a hex can be used over the amulet, or prayer in church followed by the consecration of the amulet.

A broom can become a talisman . This amulet in Rus' was considered the most powerful protection against damage and the evil eye caused by a sorcerer or witch. It was believed that if the owner of the house wants to find out whether an ordinary person has come to his house or a witch, he should turn the broom over with the broom facing up, and then the witch will not be able to leave the house. Every housewife in Rus' knew that a broom placed upside down protects the house from witches, and if you place this broom and then notice that it is lying upside down, it means that it is the work of an enemy who has been in the house.

Holy water, spoken by a person using a spell or consecrated by the prayer of a priest in a church, is well able to protect against damage and the evil eye to a house. It is customary to bless water on the day of Epiphany, January 19. This particular day is considered the day of the great consecration of water, since there is also a small consecration of water, which can be carried out on any day in the church at prayer services.

How is the rite of water baptism performed? On the great feast of Epiphany, the Church prays “for the existence of this water of sanctification, the gift of deliverance from sins, for the healing of soul and body for all fair benefit.” Without fail, the priest reads the prayer: “You have sanctified the streams of the Jordan, you have sent down Your Holy Spirit from Heaven, and you have crushed the heads of the serpents nesting there.” Next, the priest blesses the water with a cross and prayer.

As a talisman, holy water works very simply - a person sprinkles his loved ones, himself and his home with holy water, and it protects the person. If you had a guest, after whose departure you began to feel mental discomfort, you should not wait for the damage to take effect - you should pour holy water into a bucket of water in a ratio of 1:3, and rinse all the floors with this water, after which all walk around the corners with candle fire.

Dew has a special life-giving force and power of nature itself - another amulet against everything dark. This amulet does not need to be created - it has already been created for humans by nature itself. The most basic use of the amulet is to walk barefoot in the dew. It is best to do this at dawn. It is important not to eat anything before this. Just walk barefoot in the dew, this will not only give you a charge of vivacity and good mood, but also protect you from the evil influence of dark forces.

It is best to collect dew at the moment when the sun has just risen and began to illuminate it, early in the morning at dawn. Why? Yes, because the newly risen sun gives the dew its power and great strength, and after dawn, part of this power is transmitted by the dew. In order to provide yourself with protection from damage, you need to collect thistle and burdock grass at dawn, and completely smear your family and yourself with it, saying: “I collected the dew at dawn, clothed myself with it, may it protect me from evil spells, from evil eyes, from the sorcerer damn. As I say, so be it. Amen".

If a woman wants to protect herself from evil gossip and unrighteous words, she should collect dew from nettle leaves and moisten her face and hair with it. This procedure will not only protect the woman from negative emotions and slander, but will also give an excellent rejuvenating effect.

A spring , like dew, is created by the power of nature without any human intervention. Truly healing springs are located far from cities, more often in forests, away from the forces that destroy them, and therefore the springs have magical powers and a pure aura. A long time ago, spring water was known as a powerful remedy against damage, the evil eye and diseases caused by witchcraft.

How to use the spring for protection and treatment? To charge the human body with positive force, cleanse the body and resist evil spells, it is recommended to take a dip in the source, but this should only be done when you are sure that you are sufficiently hardened to avoid colds. You can also bring spring water from the forest in plastic bottles, pour it into a basin at home and wash your whole body. By repeating the ablution procedure three times, you will be reliably protected from the evil eye and damage, and you will become healthier spiritually and physically. When you wash yourself for the first time, say “For the health of the body,” the second time – “For the health of the soul,” the third time – “From a black, bad eye, from evil, unexpected misfortune.”

In order not only to protect yourself from the action of evil forces, but also to improve your internal health, it is recommended to regularly drink spring water internally, 1 liter per day.

Iron products can protect a person from the evil eye and damage , since it has long been known that iron can destroy even the most powerful witchcraft spells. Iron protects a person from negative energy by taking it upon itself, and this is its special value. Just remember that the iron must be forged.

Pins are considered the most common and effective iron amulet . To make a talisman, it is enough to place pins crosswise on the inside of a person’s clothing, and he will be protected from the negative effects of external forces. Needles are also popular as a talisman. With their help, people protect their home from the invasion of dark forces. How to create such a talisman? Thread a linen thread into the eye of a copper needle, and insert the needle itself into the threshold so that the point of the needle is directed toward the outside of the house, out of it. After this, the person quietly spits over his left shoulder three times. Now all the negative thoughts and evil wishes of ill-wishers will be pinned on a needle every time, and will not penetrate inside your home.

A very popular iron amulet is the horseshoe . The horseshoe should be attached over the front door so that it is not noticeable. Now, when a person passes through the door with the aim of causing harm to the owner, the horseshoe will “pull out” everything bad from the person, and he will become disarmed.

Icons . Because of their divine power, icons are the most effective and popular means of protecting a person and his home from the evil eye and other misfortunes.

Just an important clarification - the icon must be given to the church; you should not purchase icons in antique stores, much less accept them from other people, since icons can contain the negative energy of past owners.

In order for the icon to protect you from everything bad, do the following - take a small icon and attach a piece of paper behind it with a prayer written to your angel asking for patronage and protection. Now always carry the icon with you, and it will protect you from the troubles and evil intentions of other people.

How to part with a talisman

Amulets do not last forever - especially homemade ones. Eventually they will get so worn out that you will have to get rid of them. Unspoken magical laws prohibit throwing amulets into landfills, and there are several reasons for this:

  • Someone with bad wishes or just a random passerby may find this item and cast a spell or talisman on it.
  • This is just plain disrespect. The amulet protected you for a long time, and you get rid of it like simple trash.

But how then to part with the amulet? First of all, you should say goodbye to him. Remind yourself how much good he has done in your life and thank him. Not necessarily out loud.

What to do after this:

  • Burn the talisman away from your home. Do this in order to prevent getting into the smoke with which bad energy comes out.
  • Throw it into a lake or river. But this method is not suitable for everyone. If your talisman is light, it is better to burn it. If this is not done, the object will float on the surface of the water and will then be caught by a random passerby.

That's all! You said goodbye to the amulet, as it should be. Now you can put on a new one with a clear conscience, so as not to be left without protection.

Men's mascots

It was customary for the ancient Slavs to make protective amulets for their spouses. These amulets were made by home guardians with their own hands, so that men would be under reliable protection during long journeys and military battles. Talismans restored health and gave strength, protected from the evil eye and helped preserve family happiness, protecting them from rivals.

The main ingredients used to create the amulet were simple flour and salt, which were diluted with water in a 2:1 ratio. Figures were sculpted from the resulting elastic mass:

  • a horse - for a man who goes traveling. This amulet will help its owner attract success and good luck in business;
  • spoon is a symbol of prosperity and well-being. A person wearing such an amulet will never need anything. A figurine of a wolf will not only make a man a leader in life, but will also strengthen the family unit. Your partner will love only you for the rest of his life.

A protective amulet made by yourself for a loved one will be a wonderful reminder of your sincere feelings.
