Terms of sale of diamond products
The purchase and sale transaction is completed absolutely legally and is confirmed by a contract. Before the transaction, an examination and evaluation are required, which help to protect all parties: the authenticity and quality of the product are checked, and the value of the diamond is determined according to the rules approved by international associations of appraisers.
Appraisals can be completed online to quickly get a rough idea of the value of a piece of jewelry. To do this, just leave a request, attaching several photos from different angles and a few words about the condition of the product and the availability of certificates and documents. However, to obtain the most accurate estimate, we recommend that you submit the jewelry itself for evaluation or invite a specialist to your home.
The Perspektiva pawnshop also offers a collateral service: you can use the money and then buy back the jewelry before the contract expires.

What kind of diamonds can be sold?
The Perspektiva pawnshop buys diamonds and diamond products from a variety of jewelry houses. What matters most to us is the quality of the stones, not the beauty of the decoration. We accept white, pink, blue, red diamonds and products with them.
In rare cases, we may accept a product with some external defects that has particular historical value. However, it is usually their cleanliness and impeccable condition that has the greatest impact on value.
The classic round cut of a stone is always highly valued, but the “fancy” cut gives diamonds a special charm. Rounded, square, rectangular, teardrop-shaped or heart-shaped, such stones cause awe in the hearts of girls and are invariably popular.
Buying and choosing a diamond
Of course, each stone is beautiful in its own way and deserves attention. But there are clear evaluation criteria that affect the value of a diamond. When choosing, pay attention to four signs:
- Weight of the stone in carats (1 carat equals 0.2 grams). The rule is that the greater the weight, the more expensive the cost of each carat.
- Color is determined using a special scale. The most expensive stones are colorless or slightly blue. Yellowish diamonds will cost less, although the difference will not always be noticeable to the naked eye.
- Cleanliness – absence of microdefects (cracks, chips, inclusions).
• Cut – round stones are the most expensive. Fancy cuts are also in demand: oval, princess, marquise, pear, heart, emerald. The larger the gem, the stricter the criteria for its evaluation. The price range is wide. A qualified assessment of each diamond is carried out by an expert and is confirmed by an international certificate from a gemological laboratory. This is the only way to be sure of the quality of your purchase.
Diamond grading
We offer a service for urgent purchase of diamonds at high prices, however, to determine the value of a specific product, a professional appraisal must be performed.
Determination of purity
The assessment is carried out using a magnifying glass. A huge number of parameters related to cutting are assessed - it is this that greatly influences purity. If a diamond is not cut correctly, it does not shine, it does not have the incredible play of light for which these stones are so valued.
The presence of inclusions and cracks is also determined; if they are present, the stone is worth less.
Determination of cost
The parameters of the stone that the appraiser pays attention to are very diverse. In particular, they must determine the carat weight, color (the highest cost is for transparent stones), clarity and quality of cut.
The classic round cut (has 57 facets) maximizes the potential of the stone. This is why round diamonds are more valuable.
1 carat is a measure that simultaneously determines the size and weight of a stone, and also greatly depends on the cut and shape. 1 carat is equal to 0.2 grams.
The cost for 0.01 carats starts from about 80 rubles for small stones (0.3 carats) of low quality. The cost of higher quality stones will be from 100 rubles per 0.01 carat. Accordingly, stones weighing more than 0.3 carats are even more expensive, and medium-large and large stones from 1 carat require the most careful evaluation and their price depends on a huge number of additional parameters.
If certificates are available, their authenticity is also verified.
For jewelry, the weight and purity of the metal framing the stone is assessed. Experts evaluate the design, condition of the jewelry, and brand popularity.
In this case, the cost may change up or down. The value of a diamond invariably increases due to its perfect condition and the presence of documents and original packaging.
Please note that the cost depends little on the price of jewelry in jewelry stores and boutiques, where traditionally there is a significant markup. However, we guarantee an impartial, completely fair and transparent assessment on as many parameters as possible. We offer our clients the highest possible price for a diamond.

A few tips for buying diamonds - a cheat sheet for men
In addition to high hardness, a diamond has some other characteristics that determine its price.
On a display in a jewelry store, two completely identical rings with a difference in price several times lead men into the same stupor as two identical spare parts in a car store, if one of them was made, for example, by the Germans, and the second by our narrow-eyed friends.
So. How to choose a diamond in order to buy a decent stone without overpaying?
Step-by-step instructions for men.
1. Decide on the price and voice it to the seller. This way you will significantly narrow your search.
2. The price of diamonds depends on four parameters, the first of which is weight. The more weight, the more expensive - this is understandable. However, there are a few subtleties that you need to be aware of.
Firstly. By weight, diamonds are divided into 3 groups: small – up to 0.29 carats (1 carat = 0.2 grams); medium – from 0.3 to 1 carat; large – more than 1 carat. So, if you choose between 0.29 and 0.3 ct, then you will not see a difference in size at all, and the price will differ by 30%, since these are stones of different weight groups.
And secondly. At the same weight, a round cut stone will always look smaller than a princess (square), marquise, oval or pear (elongated) cut. If you want the stone to appear larger visually, choose a non-round cut. In addition, it is 20 percent more expensive than those listed above. That is, with the same weight, a round diamond will cost more than other cuts and visually appear smaller in size. Although the round cut diamond sparkles and sparkles a little better. What to prefer, size or game, the choice is yours.
The weight on the tag is indicated as follows: Kr-57 0.28 – round cut with 57 facets weighing 0.28 carats. (instead of Kr-57 it can be written: P-65 - princess, M-55 - marquis, Ov-57 - oval, Se-57 - heart, G-56 - pear. The numbers are the number of faces).
3. Diamond color. In nature, and therefore in jewelry, absolutely white (colorless) diamonds are as rare as a Rolls Royce on the streets of a metropolis. All diamonds have a shade, which also affects the price and can cause a difference in price several times. The good news is that often you will not notice this difference in color visually, but you will save money. On the tag, the color is written as a number after the weight, for example, Kr-57 0.28 4/6 A. The color here is 4. Is 4 good or bad? We will not go into the intricacies of the assessment. The only thing you need to remember is that it makes no sense to buy stones weighing up to 0.29 carats with a color above 4 (i.e. from 1 to 3), and weighing from 0.3 carats or more - with a color above 6 (from 1 up to 5). This shade is almost invisible to the eye, but the savings are significant - up to 50%.
4. Cleanliness. These are inclusions that are present in almost all diamonds. On the tag it is written after the color. Kr-57 0.28 4/6 A. In this case, it is 6. Here you need to remember the following: If the stone weighs up to 0.29 carats, then it makes no sense to spend money on purity 1-5, buy with purity 6 (with difficulty visible inclusions). If the stone is 0.3 carats or more, then inclusions begin to be visible to the naked eye, starting with a purity of 7-8. This is good quality.
Hence the conclusion. Don't chase the color and purity numbers 1, 2, 3 on the tags. They only make sense for large stones that you buy as an investment and plan to sell in the future.
5. And finally, the letter A on the tag at the end is the cut quality . A – the best, B – the stone sparkles a little less.
And one last thing. When going to the store, take this cheat sheet with you. Remembering everything that is written here is as difficult as it is for us girls to understand the principle of operation of the injection system in a car.
I really hope that this article will help some of you choose a good diamond at an unexpectedly good price. And someone’s statement that March 8 is the day when even the smartest men spend their nest eggs in the most stupid way will not be about you. Svetlana Gural
