Magic stone shungite: YouTube/Vanessa Hernandez Shungite stone is known for its mystical properties, and its origin is still hotly debated. Peter I opened the first balneological resort Marcial Waters in places where there were deposits of healing stones. For some zodiac signs, astrologers recommend wearing it on their hands as an amulet. Let us reveal the secrets of the impact of shungite on humans.

What is shungite?

Shungite is a rock intermediate between graphite and anthracite.

Description

93-99 percent carbon, so the chemical formula has one symbol - C. The composition also contains some hydrogen, nitrogen, hydrogen, sulfur and very small amounts of tungsten, vanadium, nickel, and selenium. Externally, it is very reminiscent of anthracite; black, dark gray, gray or brown amorphous globules have a metallic luster. The color can be smooth or interspersed with light veins.

Origin

Scientists have not yet reached a consensus on this. There are two main versions:

  1. Shungite was brought to Earth by meteorites.
  2. Formed as a result of volcanic eruptions.

Physical properties

Shungite hardness is 3.5–4 units. according to the Mohs scale , density depends on the composition - 1.80–2.84 g/cm3 .

Super-electrically conductive, its thermal conductivity is similar to premium-grade coal.

Shungite lights up only under special conditions that provide an influx of oxygen.

Place of Birth

Beyond Lake Onega there is the only quarry in the world where rock is mined. The village of Shunga, in the vicinity of which a healing stone was discovered, is located on the territory of the Karelian Republic. The nearby island of Kizhi consists entirely of shungite soil. This region is famous for its original history and architecture.

It is known that the inhabitants of the island who feel the influence of the stone have amazing health and fortitude. In addition, shungite soil has a beneficial effect on architectural structures of historical significance. Temples built of wood are not subject to putrefactive processes and other destruction.

Story

This mineral was first mentioned in a chronicle dating back to the beginning of the 16th century . Then it was called viper or slate stone. Until the end of the 19th century, shungite had other names:

  • touchstone;
  • slate stone;
  • paragon;
  • lyddit.

For a long time, the mineral was practically not used, since, unlike coal, it does not burn under normal conditions.

They appreciated it only after learning about the healing properties of the water that bubbled up from the shungite deposit.

"Royal" stone

There is a legend that thanks to this healing water, Ksenia Romanova, the mother of the first Russian Tsar from the Romanov family, Mikhail Fedorovich, was healed. Exiled by Boris Godunov to the Tolvui Monastery, after morning services she drank water from the spring and, as a result, the serious illness subsided. Subsequently, this source was named Tsarevnin.

A century later, Peter I drew attention to it and, following the example of European countries, ordered the creation of a resort around the source. It was called “Martial Waters”; military personnel were treated and recuperated there.

But after the death of the emperor, the resort was closed and was revived only in the middle of the 20th century .

In the times of Peter the Great, by order of the Tsar, every soldier was obliged to carry a “slate stone” with him in order to drink only purified water from open sources.

Studying shungite

At the end of the 18th century, the study of the properties of the rock began. Academician Nikolai Ozeretskovsky made a detailed description of the stone, and in 1848 his work was continued by military engineer Nikolai Komarov.

The name “shungite” was given to the mineral in 1877 in honor of the village of Shunga, where it was found.

In the 30s of the 20th century, it was investigated by government organizations of the USSR for the purpose of replacing coal.

Confession

In 1996, a group of scientists was awarded the Nobel Prize for creating fullerenes in the laboratory. But these carbon compounds, unique in structure and very rare, were discovered in shungite, and it became very popular.

Types and colors

Today there are several varieties of shungite:

  1. Elite. It has a rich, deep black color and porous structure. When interacting with the surface, the stone leaves a black mark reminiscent of coal.
  2. Shungite shale. The material is distinguished by its gray-matte color and has similar features with an elite look. Used in construction and is not effective for medicinal purposes.

Geologists divide the mineral into five types, depending on the percentage of carbon levels.

Application

Shungite is of great importance for humans, since shungite water is used for healing. The stone is used in the production of water filters, as well as in the manufacture of jewelry. The breed is recognized as basic for nanotechnology, and therefore can be of great importance in the post-industrial era.

Use in basic industries

In metallurgy, shungite is used as a source for the production of cast iron, silicon carbide, and ferrochrome.

In construction, it is a raw material for producing shungizite (a lightweight analogue of concrete and thermal insulation backfill).

Shungite water

The main property of the mineral is that it improves and filters water.

Shungite as a filter is considered better than activated carbon in some respects.

Effect of shungite on water:

  • Structures it.
  • Eliminates 95–96% of harmful substances (nitrates, phenols, radionuclides, pesticides and others).
  • Unpleasant odors and cloudiness disappear, and the water becomes very tasty.
  • Thanks to fullerenes in the composition of shungite, “living” water is obtained, and not “dead”, as with harsh purification with chlorine.
  • When cleansed, useful minerals (potassium, magnesium, calcium) remain in it.

To purify water in aquariums, swimming pools and wells, simply throw shungite into them.

Preparation of shungite water

It can easily be prepared at home:

  1. In a glass or porcelain container (you can also use an enamel one) you need to put shungite stones (100 grams per 1 liter) . Before doing this, they should be washed thoroughly.
  2. After half an hour , the water will become clear, but it will acquire medicinal properties only after three days .
  3. It must be drained or scooped out carefully so as not to disturb the sediment (which can then be poured into the sewer).
  4. Rinse the shungite stones well to use next time ( after six months they need to be replaced with others).

Shungite water should be stored in a cool place or in the cold, but not in the refrigerator. The container with it should be kept away from electrical appliances.

Caffeine

Foods that cause kidney stones include coffee and caffeinated drinks. It provokes the removal of calcium from the bones, which then settles in the bladder and ureter. This relationship has been confirmed by clinical studies. When drinking more than 3 cups of coffee per day, the concentration of calcium compounds in the excreted urine increases sharply within a few days. It also contains citrates, magnesium and other substances involved in the formation of stones. If after drinking coffee there is pain in the lumbar region, this may indicate that the process of stone formation has already begun.

Medicinal properties

For medicinal purposes, not only shungite water is used, but also the stone itself. Its effect on the human body is ambiguous. For all its healing qualities, the mineral can also bring trouble.

Shungite stone: benefits and harm

There have not yet been any detailed medical studies on the beneficial effects of shungite on the human body.

For medicinal purposes, only shungite containing at least 30–40% carbon (if less, the stone may contain impurities harmful to health). If you use sugite to purify water, you must first check it for the presence of finely dispersed pyrite, which releases sulfurous acid into the water. If pyrite is present, then such water will be harmful to humans.

General effects on the body

It is believed that the healing properties of shungite are effective for both acquired and congenital pathologies:

  • Eliminates gastrointestinal disorders.
  • Has a positive effect on the hematopoietic system.
  • Increases the elasticity of the walls of blood vessels.
  • Helps restore joint mobility and relieve inflammation.
  • Strengthens the nervous system and overall tone of the body.
  • Throat diseases and runny nose are treated with shungite water.

Water purified and structured with the help of shungite has bactericidal antioxidant, antiallergic, tonic and other beneficial properties.

Shungite water and stone absorb electromagnetic radiation, therefore they are useful in houses located in geopathogenic zones, or in apartments with many electrical appliances (in this case, the water will be intended for cleansing the room, and not for drinking).

Contraindications

It is believed that the use of shungite in combination with medications and medications recommended by doctors is beneficial. But under certain factors, the stone can cause harm to the body, these include:

  • hypotension;
  • oncology;
  • heart disease;
  • risk of blood clots;
  • sick kidneys.

Health may suffer from illiterate use of the stone in the following cases:

  • in case of exacerbation of a chronic disease or internal inflammatory process, in case of a disease requiring urgent medical intervention. In these cases, self-medication is very dangerous;
  • drinking unboiled water purified with a mineral of unverified origin;
  • the use of compresses (cold and hot), if they are not recommended by doctors.

A hot bath should only be taken if your doctor has determined that it will not adversely affect your heart.

Ways to use shungite

At home, the healing properties of the stone are used in the following procedures:

  • Baths (take them only with the approval of a doctor). The bath should be filled with hot (at least 45o) water, and a gauze bag with pebbles (0.3–0.4 kg) for at least a quarter of an hour . When the water has cooled to a temperature suitable for taking a bath, remove the bag.
  • Bathhouse. Lining a bathhouse with shungite is very beneficial, as it is durable, wear-, heat- and moisture-resistant. In addition, the healing properties of the stone are activated by heat.
  • Compresses. Apply ice from shungite water or a napkin moistened with such water to a bruise, swelling, burn, callus. Such compresses are contraindicated in case of an open wound, infection, diabetes, or problems with blood circulation.
  • Stone massage. Moderately hot small stones are placed between the legs of a lying patient. Large ones are used for body massage. Walk on the crumbs to massage the feet (6–10 minutes) . Stone massage is very useful, since shungite, like all opaque stones, according to the tenets of Eastern medicine, carries the feminine principle (yin) and takes away bad energy from the sore spot.
  • Use in ointments prepared by traditional healers for the treatment of joints and skin. Shungite powder is a useful additive to cosmetic creams; it is also used to lubricate gums.
  • Washing and rinsing hair with shungite water. Acne and wrinkles disappear; This effect will be more pronounced if you do not dry your face with a towel after washing. You can freeze water and wipe your skin with ice.

If you rinse your hair with shungite water after washing your hair, its condition will noticeably improve.

  • Drinking healing water infused with shungite. The course is from one to one and a half months, then a break of the same duration. If immunity is reduced, treatment is advisable for 3 months. Conduct 3-4 courses per year, always with breaks equal in duration to the time of water intake.

Pebbles should be replaced with new ones every six months .

It is better to drink shungite water in small sips. The optimal regimen is half a glass three times a day , regardless of meals.

Caring for stone products

Shungite, like other gems, needs proper care. The physical properties of the mineral are fragile, so it should be protected from impacts and falls . Natural stones are washed with soapy water and under running water, then dried naturally, avoiding direct sunlight and heat.

Blot it with a soft cloth, let it dry, and then put it in the box. If the gem is stored together with other jewelry, it must be placed in a soft fabric case; it is better to use velvet for this. In such storage conditions, the product will retain its beauty for a long time.

Magic properties

Shungite has long been considered a gift from the gods on the Kola Peninsula, as it has been noted that it has a noticeable positive effect on humans.

The powerful magical properties of shungite are manifested in the following:

  • He absorbs everything that harms people and, transforming negativity into positive energy, gives it to others.
  • Promotes concentration of attention and strength for the implementation of grandiose projects, therefore such talismans are useful for energetic and ambitious people.
  • A person who is unsure of his abilities and prone to depression can also receive the support of the stone, but such a talisman should be worn only from time to time.
  • Normalizing space with a shungite artifact allows people to forget about apathy, fatigue, and headaches. Figures made from this stone absorb all negativity and restore the strength of household members, preventing scandals and quarrels.

The value of shungite for a person is determined by its form:

  • Ball - harmonizes the owner’s personal life, helps to attract the attention of people of the opposite sex, and achieve family happiness. To do this, it is enough to wear a necklace, beads, bracelet or rosary with large beads.
  • Cube _ Provides assistance to businessmen, attracting cash flows and endowing a person with perseverance and determination.
  • The pyramid protects the house from the negative energy of other people. Placed opposite the front door, it will effectively protect against external negativity. If you place such a figurine in those places where there are most electronic devices, it will absorb their radiation.

Who is suitable according to their zodiac sign?

According to the horoscope, shungite is ideally compatible with two zodiac signs: Gemini and Capricorn . Moreover, the first is more suitable for black stones, and the second - with a grayish tint.

Scorpio will receive help from the talisman in strengthening the ability to subjugate those around him to his will, but this potential must be used in good deeds.

Pisces , according to astrologers, really need “grounding” so that excessive sensitivity disappears. This will happen if shungite is worn in combination with tourmaline or black agate.

Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius , but you should not constantly wear talismans and amulets.

Astrologers do not recommend wearing shungite to people born under the constellation Cancer .

Representatives of other zodiac signs can wear shungite as jewelry.

Practicing astrologers, based on experience, believe that the magic of this stone can enhance qualities in the owner that are uncharacteristic of his zodiac sign.

Note

It is known that what significance the “shungite” force will have for a person. Despite the predictions of astrologers, everyone decides for himself who will be more suited to the influence of the stone, and who will be helped less.

But as a warning, it should be remembered that stones are “living” substances that have memory. Accumulating within itself, as in a reservoir, all energy formations that harm the owner of the gem require elimination. Programming can remove malicious information from the amulet. The stone should be fueled with positivity, positive impulse and good thoughts.

How to distinguish from a fake

It is better to purchase shungite in pharmacies or in a company online store, otherwise you can buy coal or a simple pebble instead.

Distinctive features of shungite:

  • There is almost no shine (but elite shungite has a shiny surface, as if covered with varnish).
  • In water, shungite (not elite) becomes covered with bubbles.
  • It’s rough and gets your hands dirty (but the elite one leaves almost no marks).
  • On the cut there are white or golden veins (but they are not always there).

Golden veins indicate the presence of pyrite. It is not recommended to infuse water on such a stone.

The manufacturer's address must only be Karelian, since the stone is mined only in Karelia. The seller's address must also be on the package (which one does not matter). The mineral wears off easily, which means there may be some “coal” dust at the bottom of the bag. A package sealed in a factory is also evidence of the naturalness of the stone.

Variety

The chemical composition of the mineral is very high, which is reflected in its color range; the presence of metals gives a certain tone. If quartz is present, shungite acquires a whitish tint, and golden color is characteristic of the mineral interspersed with Pyrite. “Slate stone” is:

  • black;
  • dark gray;
  • Brown color.

The mineral is divided into shiny and matte varieties.
